At your venue or a mutually convenient venue, all we require is for suitable space to deliver both the practical and theory elements of the course content. On dates to suit your group, work commitments and business needs. This is often more cost effective than training individuals.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
For those whom are 16 years +. Once qualified holders of this first aid at work certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. WorkSafe are an industry recognised standard, in accordance with Ofsted and HSE requirements.

Scene Assessment
Primary Survey, conscious & unconscious casualty management
CPR (including AED)
Choking Shock
Wounds & Bleeding (including eye injuries) Seizures
Secondary Survey Respiratory System and Hypoxia
Anaphylaxis Asthma & Hyperventilation
Drowning Chest Injuries
Common Illnesses Fractures & Soft Tissue
Head, Neck & Back injuries Burns & Electrical Injury
Stroke Diabetes
Hot & Cold injuries Poisoning
First Aid Equipment & Reporting
COURSE DURATION
The recommended time for delivery of this course will vary depending upon group size, experience and ability. The recommended time is 18 hours, inclusive of both written and practical assessments. By arrangement the course can be delivered on non-consecutive days for example one day a week over three weeks. In addition this course can be modified to deliver training on specific content as required.
ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATION
All programmes have a clearly defined and documented assessment process to ensure students have obtained a successful level of knowledge and ability. The FAW programme requires continual assessment and a final written paper and practical assessment, each student will be observed completing every practical session.

Successful students who have been observed performing the required skills will be submitted for certification. Certificates will be issued following course completion.
